Hey, it's Danna and I've got a quick question for you...and an amazing, almost unbelievable story to share.
So, have you ever gone to your boss to ask for a raise?
Usually goes like this - right? Knees shaking, got your strong points all lined up to share with him/her on how much you are contributing to the company ... heart pounding, voice trembling a bit while you watch the boss sit there, tapping his pen on the desk, pretending to be really interested, but knowing the answer will be "I really wish we could do this, but right now it's just not possible."
