Work from Home and Make Money with a Proven Company…

During the first half of the 2000′s, America’s economy was riding high. People were buying real estate like crazy trying to make money. Then the bottom fell out when the housing market crashed in 2008.

As a result, millions of people lost their income, fortunes, and retirements.  The housing crash rippled through the economy. Thousands of workers were fired. Some economists even feared that we might even experience a second great depression.

Many individuals decided to work from home with their own home based business.

 According to CNN Money:
  •     The number of Americans working from home has soared 41% in the last decade.
  •     About 13.4 million people currently work from home in the United States,  according to a Census Bureau report out Thursday. That’s about four million more Americans since 1999.

The availability of high-speed Internet and services like Skype, that allow for at-home virtual meetings, has made working from home easier.

The home business industry is now booming, and many people are looking to jump on-board. After all, most people want to be their own boss with the freedom that a home business provides. But the reality is that there is no get rich quick solution. To work from home requires hard work, but the rewards are phenomenal.

Of course, there are many types of home business companies where you can begin. I researched many many businesses until I found the one that was a fit for me.

The best work from home business I have discovered is with a stable 27 year old billion dollar Health & Wellness company that has withstood our poor economy.  Look at the image to the left and see the trend in this industry!

The Dangers of Febreze

How many of you use this product? We have a safer, natural, and more effective product. Find out more!

Febreze is classified as an air freshner, created by Proctor & Gamble. It reports to work by "trapping" odor molecules in a donut-shaped chemical.

The first thing that is really important to understand: the product does not remove odor molecules and it doesn't clean the item it comes into contact with.
The odor molecules are still there. Your nose just can't perceive them because you smell the chemical product instead.
That alone should be your first warning. We know inhalation of any chemicals is dangerous, and several of its ingredients listed below are known to irritate the lungs...but this is a chemical whose entire purpose is to be inhaled!

Unfortunately there is not much data being shared on Febreze and their many products, but the Environmental Working Group (EWG) did conduct a test for the ingredients of one of their products, Febreze Air Effects.

Shockingly, P&G only disclosed THREE ingredients in this product, but the EWG...they found 87 chemicals in total!

Now this is just one Febreze product, but the fact that only 3 ingredients were disclosed and that so many undisclosed ingredients are dangerous, it's safe to assume that their other air freshners are just as dangerous.

Febreze Ingredients

Below you'll find a list of just some of the 87 chemicals found by the EWG in Febreze Air Effects, listed in order of their toxicity to humans:
  • BHT - Known as a neurotoxin, endocrine disruptor, immunotoxicity, non-reproductive organ system toxicity, skin eye and lung irritator
  • Acetaldehyde - Known to cause cancer, toxic to reproduction and development, immunotoxin, non-reproductive organ system toxin, skin, eye and lung irritator
  • "Fragrance" - One of the three ingredients actually disclosed, it's a neurotoxin, immunotoxin and allergen
  • Propylene Glycol - Causes cancer, allergies, toxic to immune system, accumulates in the system, non-reproductive organ system toxin, is classified with "enhanced skin absorption" and irritates the skin, eye and lung
  • 1,3-Dichloro-2-propanol - Carcinogenic (causes cancer)
  • Limonene - Allergen, immunotoxin and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Methyl pyrrolidone - Toxin to reproduction and development, allergen and immunotoxin, non-reproductive organ system toxin and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Alcohol denatured - Also disclosed in the ingredients of Febreze, it's linked to cancer, developmental/reproductive toxicity, organ system toxicity and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Butylphenyl methylpropion al - allergen, immunotoxin and and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Ethyl acetate - linked to developmental/reproductive toxicity, neurotoxicity, organic system toxicity and and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Geraniol - Linked to allergies, immunotoxicity, organi system toxicity and and skin, eyes and lung irritation
  • Linalool - allergen, immunotoxin, and and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Benzaldehyde - neurotoxin, and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether - non-reproductive organ system toxicity
  • Ethylhezanol - developmental and reproductive toxin and skin, eyes and lung irritator
  • Hexyl cinnamal - allergen, immunotoxin and skin, eyes and lung irritator.

The 3 Biggest Sources of Chemicals in Your Home

Ever wonder what's exposing you to the highest levels of chemicals? A new study hopes to give you an answer.

By Emily Main

It's pretty well known that products like vinyl shower curtains and floor tiles, personal care products, and household cleaners expose people to a variety of harmful chemicals that have been linked to asthma and reproductive problems, including infertility in both men and women. But when it comes to eliminating chemicals in your home, where do you start?

That's what scientists at the Silent Spring Institute were hoping to uncover with a massive review of more than 200 products, all of which were analyzed for their hazardous-chemical content. "This is the first large peer-reviewed study of its kind that has looked at such a wide range of products for hormone disruption and asthma," says the study's lead author Robin Dodson, ScD, research scientist at Silent Spring. "It gives us a much clearer snapshot of what people might be exposed to."

A number of studies have pinpointed things like fragrances, cleaners, and personal care products as a source of exposure to hormone disruptors, chemicals that act like estrogen or block testosterone in both men and women and can lead to problems with infertility, reproductive cancers, and other hormonal functions. But until now, it's never been very clear which products posed the greatest threat, says Dodson.

She and her coauthors selected 170 household products—including dish liquids, laundry detergents, lotions, sunscreens, cosmetics, vinyl shower curtains, and vinyl pillow protectors—and analyzed those for the presence of the 66 chemicals that can trigger breathing problems and reproductive abnormalities, among them:

phthalates, linked to both asthma and infertility
fragrances, which contain mixtures of a dozen or more chemicals and are even used in "unscented" products to mask chemical odors
• glycol ethers, asthma-triggering solvents often added to cleaning products
parabens, preservatives used in a variety of personal care products and suspected of causing breast cancer
triclosan, used in cosmetics and antibacterial soaps and known to interfere with reproductive hormones
bisphenol A (BPA), a hormone-disrupting chemical used in certain plastics

The researchers also selected 43 "alternative" products that were promoted as being free of some of the above chemicals, for instance, white vinegar, nylon shower curtains, and a variety of "fragrance-free" personal care and cleaning products. To see the brand names of all the products tested, check the full list published by Silent Spring online. They detected at least one of the six chemicals listed above in nearly all products tested, including 41 of the 43 "green" or "nontoxic" products.

NOTE:  Our products are not listed in this study as they are truly non-toxic :)

Please contact us, we can help you remove the toxins from your home.  This will help everyone in your your home, especially those with breathing issues and allergies.

Sunday Strategies

Ways to Conquer Fear & Develop Courage
Courage is the ability to continue moving forward even in the face of challenge, adversity, and fear.

Without fear, there could be no bravery. So being courageous is largely about managing fear the best you can and still taking the best action available to you.

These strategies will help you develop the courage to tackle your fears:

1. Decide that you’re going to conquer your fears. The simple act of making a decision means you’ve cut yourself off from all other possibilities. So tell yourself that you’re going to tackle your fears one at a time.
2. Accept the fact that there will be some fear. Fear can frequently be decreased, but sometimes not completely eliminated. Remember that living courageously means dealing with some level of fear but going forward anyway.
3. Develop the idea that fear isn’t a good excuse to avoid doing something. Unless you’re going to fall off a cliff, being afraid is an ineffective way of choosing your course of action. If you get into the habit of not acting due to fear, continuing on that path only becomes easier.
4. Ask yourself, “What’s the worst that can happen?” Many times your knee-jerk reaction is to feel fear in a given situation, but you might find out the worst that can happen isn’t that bad.
5. Recognize that feelings of fear and excitement are very closely related. Try telling yourself you’re just really excited the next time you take action to do something on your list.

You can live courageously. Put the above plan into action today. The key is to start small and move forward from there. Remember that being courageous is all about taking action in spite of fear, not the absence of fear. There’s no time like the present to cultivate your courage.

“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear – not absence of fear.”
– Mark Twain

18 Simple Ways to Declutter Your Home by Going Green

These simple steps will not only clear space in every room, from the bedroom and kitchen to the home office and hall closet – but they'll also cut waste and reduce your environmental impact. By Dan Shapley

2 Ways to Stop Clutter Before It Starts

Clutter is what we bring into our homes that we don't want. The first step in successfully reducing clutter is to stop bringing clutter into our homes!

Here are two easy ways to do that: Stop Receiving Junk Mail:

The average American household receives an estimated 850 pieces of junk mail every year — enough, as we all know, to cover our kitchen tables several times over. It's no coincidence that paper makes up one-quarter of all landfill waste, or that the junk mail industry's environmental footprint is large, equivalent to the tailpipe pollution from 9 million cars. -
