SHARING TO SOCIAL MEDIA SITES
With Instagram, you can immediately share your image with Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter,
Flickr and Foursquare. If you don't accounts with all of these, get them set up before
you try to start sharing your images, it will make it much smoother.
YOUR BIO IS IMPORTANT
You should have a nice bio, this is how people see you on comments you leave and
when they visit your page. Your bio should be visible, show posture and also have a
call to action in it. Write a catchy headline, not just your name, your name already
shows just below your headline. Tell who you are, what you represent, things you
like, etc. Use emogi's in your bio, this makes you stand out and more people are apt
to click on you to see what you are about and may follow you. I just downloaded this

apps, so you choose whichever one you like :)

Have a nice head shot that shows who you are, for instance, mine is with me and
a wolf, since I LOVE wolves. :)
WHAT YOU SHOULD POST ON INSTAGRAM
Lifestyle images, motivational images and some business images but only do 1-2% business
images, remember people engage with you because they like what you are about, like what
you do to have fun, enjoy seeing where you go and hobbies you enjoy, food you eat, etc.
You need to share who you are thru images which will attract like minded people to connect
with you and follow you and what you are doing. Add a call to action, which is requesting
your viewers take action, like click the link in my bio or visit this site, etc., but
DO NOT do it in every post, only once in a while.
HASHTAGS AND HOW YOU SHOULD USE THEM
First off, what is a hashtag?
Hashtags are any word in the social conversation that begins with the "#" symbol.
Americans refer to it as a "pound sign", but it's known as a "hash" pretty much
everywhere else. A "#" in front of a word like "beauty" makes it a hashtag: #beauty!

Thousands and probably of millions of people use hashtags in their posts on
Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and most of all of the social media sites today.
You can search for great hashtags on Instagram on your smartphone or on your computer
at http://iconosquare.com . Hashtags should be representative of the image
posted, i.e. if you are using a picture of a beach, you could use #beachlife #onthecoast
#lovethebeach #sittinginthesand, etc.
Everyone that searches that hashtag will see your image and can like, comment on it
and follow you if you peak their interest!
You can use up to 30 hashtags per image on Instagram. Sakshi does recommend that you
use a few hashtags in your text, not more than five. You can then put more hashtags at
the end of your text but not too many as it messes up the way your text looks. You
can then make a comment on your image and add the rest of the hashtags you want to
use and it links your image to them.
HOW TO USE INSTAGRAM ON YOUR COMPUTER
You can use http://iconosquare.com to like images and leave comments on them.
You can also search for people and follow them, see who is following you and who you
are following. You can also search for great hashtags to use. This is web based
nothing to download. Log in with our Instagram log in info.
To upload images from your computer you can use http://gramblr.com/uploader/ .
This is a great tool as we all have many images on our computers that would be
great to share on Instagram. Click on the link, download to your computer
and then log in with your Instagram log in info.
NEW AND WANT TO GET FOLLOWERS?
There are many apps you can download from the Google App store where you can
get followers and likes, do some research and find the one you like.
REMEMBER
One of your goals is to get as many followers and likes/comments on your
images, but something you must not forget is that you need to do the same
to others. Follow those that follow you and always like their images and
leave comments, treat others as you want to be treated... Engagement is
the most important thing as it will get people interested in you and what
you are doing in your life, business and otherwise so chat it up, make
some friends and spread the love of you and what you are all about!
